Report copyright or infringement

Use this page to understand how to notify us about listing content that you believe infringes your intellectual property or other legal rights.

Last updated: 13 April 2026

We take reasonable steps to review complete, good-faith notices. Submitting false or bad-faith claims may have legal consequences.

What you can report

Typical notices concern alleged copyright or trademark infringement, unauthorised use of trade dress or branding, or similarly specific legal claims tied to identifiable listing content.

General business disputes, pricing disagreements, quality complaints or defamation matters may not fall under this process—we may direct you to appropriate channels.

Information to include

The exact URL of the listing or page on Bharat Seva Setu where the material appears.

A clear description of the work or mark you claim is protected, and why you believe the use is unauthorised.

Evidence of ownership or authority to act (e.g. registration numbers where applicable, chain of title, or a statement of authorship for copyright).

Your full legal name, organisation (if any), postal address, email and phone number. Electronic signatures are acceptable where permitted by law.

A good-faith statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are authorised to act for the rights holder.

How to submit

Send your notice to the contact email or postal address indicated in the site footer, with the subject line “IP / Infringement Notice” and all items listed above included.

Incomplete notices may be delayed or rejected. Including structured attachments (PDF) helps us process faster but is optional unless we request them.

Our process

We review notices on a best-effort basis and may remove or disable access to contested content, request additional information, or take no action if the notice is insufficient or unfounded.

Counter-notices or reinstatement procedures (where applicable under law) will be described in our correspondence. Decisions are not legal advice.

We may preserve correspondence and content metadata as required for disputes, compliance or platform safety.

Misrepresentation & abuse

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing—or sending harassing or fraudulent notices—may expose you to liability under applicable statutes.

We may restrict accounts that repeatedly misuse this process.
